5 Things With Anna: Five Ways To Enjoy The Extra Hour Of Light

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Bahakel Entertainment’s Anna Kooiman gives five tips of what we can do with that extra hour of light when daylight savings time arrives on Sunday morning.

1. Evening walks at sunset

Take advantage of the longer days by going for an evening walk at sunset after dinner with the family or friends. Enjoy a nice stroll through the neighborhood, which not only helps aid digestion and balance our blood sugar levels, it’s also a fun way to end our day!

2. Workout outside

Whether it’s yoga in the park or a game of hoops, exercising outdoors is a fantastic way to get your vitamin D boost. Do some research about local yoga or fitness studios around your neighborhood. A lot of them being offering outdoor evening classes this time of year.

3. Gardening

Use the extra light to tend to your garden. Gardening can be the perfect activity to reset our nervous system, even if that just means watering a few potted plants there on the porch.

4. Golden photography

With daylight savings time, you have more opportunities to capture those perfect shots. So get out and start snapping!

5. Outdoor activities

Plan more outdoor gatherings, barbecues, picnics or just leisurely chat on the porch. Make this time about connecting with others so get some on the calendar, my friends.
