Charlotte Football Prodigy David Sanders

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There are prospects and then there are prodigies. David Sanders is what his two coaches who both played over a decade in the NFL call rare, as you’ll see, he’s even better in person.

Welcome to Providence Day, where America’s high school football Goliath goes by David. He’s 6’7″ with wide receiver speed and grown man power. He starts at defensive end and offensive tackle, oh, and he is only 15-years-old.

The prodigy label is dangerous. Lebron and Bryce Harper were both on the cover of Sports Illustrated as teenagers. In the Class of 2025, David Sanders is as far ahead of his peers as they were. The only difference is he plays positions that often stay in the shadow of the highlights.

Sanders can pick any school he wants in 2.5 years but some powerhouse is getting a special brand of Braun and Brains. He’s a charger that’s a jolt of energy and kindness.

Before a Hall of Fame gold jacket or a surgeon’s white jacket, the Providence Day prodigy has plenty of business to attend.
